The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has promoted Earnest Jean Colond from operations manager to director operations. Colond has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality sector. A member of the Centre’s pre-opening team in 2003, he was instrumental in developing the operations setup of the  purpose-built facility.

European carrier KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has unveiled the SkyEnergy consortium set up jointly by the airline, North Sea Petroleum and Spring Associates and has operated a test flight with one engine of a B747 running on a fuel mixture consisting of a 50/50 mix of green jet fuel and traditional petroleum-derived jet fuel.
