Singapore Changi Airport has been crowned the overall winner of this year’s Routes Awards. In 2022, the hub increased its traffic to 32.2 million passenger movements, up from 3.1 million passenger movements in 2021.

Veteran industry executive Jeremy Healy (pictured right) has been appointed general manager of the Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street, Victoria, Australia.
He joins Hilton from roles overseeing both the Movenpick Hotel, Hobart and Ibis Styles Hobart in Tasmania. 

Air India orders 470 jets

In provisional deals, Air India has ordered 470 jets (250 from Airbus and 220 from Boeing).
The Airbus deal is for 210 A320neo narrowbody planes and 40 A350 widebodies. (Another 25 Airbus jets will be leased.)

Airways New Zealand chair Denise Church said: "James brings extensive aviation and leadership experience to this role, including nine years’ experience as Airways’ chief financial officer and most recently as acting chief executive."
