Pearce's three-year term will commence following UFI’s forthcoming annual general assembly, set to take place ahead of their global congress  01 November 2023, in Las Vegas, USA.

Lisbon-based Star Alliance carrier Tap Air Portugal says it nearly doubled operating profit to EUR266 million in the third quarter, with operating margin excluding special items at 22 per cent.
Revenue was about 13 per cent higher at EUR1.26 billion.

British Airways (BA) Executive Club members are switching from a miles-based Avios rewards program to one where British Airways-marketed flights credited to Executive Club will be awarded as follows per qualifying British pound (GBP) spent: Blue status members: 6 Avios, Bronze 7 Avios, Silver 8 Avios, Gold 9 Avios.
Other airlines already have made similar moves.
