Accor welcomes two comms experts

Accor Pacific has appointed Bridie Commerford (right) director, marketing and communications, Australia.Commerford has more than 18 years’ experience in senior marketing roles across the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), quick service restaurants and alcoholic beverage industries in Australia, NZ and UK.
In her new role she will be responsible for Accor brands Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, The Sebel, Quay West, Grand Mercure, Mercure, Ibis, Ibis Styles and Ibis Budget. In addition,Commerford will oversee the quality and guest relations role for Accor Australia.
André Jacques has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Australia’s Sheraton Melbourne Hotel, slated to open in late March 2014.
