Singapore trio launch SMAP 2

Changi Airport Group (CAG), Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Singapore Airlines (SIA) launched the second edition of the Singapore MICE Advantage Program (SMAP) at IMEX Frankfurt. 
SMAP is a joint initiative that seeks to provide a differentiated and seamless Singapore business event experience for MICE organisers and visitors. The enhanced edition, with new and improved benefits, aims to further refine this experience.

Qantas opens new Karratha lounge

A new Qantas Regional Lounge has opened at Karratha, Western Australia (WA) with seating for up to 80 guests, nearly three times as many as the lounge it replaces.
“As the only airline to offer a lounge at Karratha Airport, the new space is a great value-add for travellers from the Pilbara community as well as the important Fly-in Fly-out market,” said Qantas Regional manager Western Australia Julian Barry.

Daejeon Convention Centre from South Korea and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from Malaysia were the joint winners of Incon’s 2017 Digital Infrastructure Award.

Bob Heile, head of the award judging panel explained: "Based on the submissions, both centres have top-notch digital infrastructures and we were unable to really put one ahead of the other, so we will have the honour of handing out two awards."
