While its overall first half performance has not pleased Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific's ceo, its combined Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon cargo traffic figures for June 2017 are up 12.8 per cent compared to the same month last year (at 170,476 tonnes) and the cargo and mail load factor rose by four per cent to 68.3 per cent.

Marriott International has named its executive leadership team for the Pacific region, responsible for a portfolio of more than 40 operating and pipeline hotels in Australia, New Zealand and The Pacific.
