Australia’s Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) has generated A$321 million in economic contribution for Victoria, an increase of 17 per cent on the annual target, with 194 events and almost 69,000 delegates secured in the 2016/17 financial year.

Qantas says Melbourne Club/Business lounge change will affect members' guests

Australia's Qantas Airways will begin construction of a Club and Business lounge in Melbourne from mid November.

To make way for the upgrade, the current Qantas Club will be reduced in size until the second half of next year and there will be some temporary changes to the Club's guest access policy, with no members' guests permitted during peak hours (from 05.00 through to 09.00 and from 15.00 through to 19.00hrs).
