IATA calls for greater use of operational data by aviation ‘stakeholders’

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has urged aviation stakeholders to follow global standards and make greater use of operational data in order to safely accommodate an additional 3.8 billion air travellers by 2036.

Harbin to close T1 late April

The international airport of Heilongjiang Province and the largest airport of northeast China, Harbin Taiping International Airport will migrate operations from the current Terminal 1 for flights including LJ Air and Loong Air flights to Terminal 2 on 30 April 2018, starting with domestic passenger flights.

Harbin's airport has no web site to track flight departures, arrivals and status.

Singapore Airlines and SilkAir ink Fiji Air code share

Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Fiji Airways have inked a code-share agreement that allows the SIA Group carriers to access Fiji Airways’ non-stop flights between Singapore and Nadi, including the airline’s third weekly seasonal service that was launched on 4 April 2018.
