The Londoner has opened in London’s iconic Leicester Square.
Owned by UK hotel group Edwardian Hotels London, the property has 350 guest rooms spread across 16 storeys and a subterranean series of spaces that create one of the deepest habitable basements in the world.
Promoted as a luxury urban resort, The Londoner features two private screening rooms, an exclusive 24-hour residents’ space, an entire floor dedicated to wellness, a ballroom, private art gallery, meeting places and a mix of several concept eateries.

Ireland's Emerald Airlines has secured its Air Operator Certificate (AOC), needed to take over Aer Lingus’s regional routes (previously operated by Stobart Air).
It is scheduled to start operations in January.
