Australian court turns down Viagogo’s ticketing appeal

Australia’s Full Federal Court has dismissed an appeal by Viagogo against earlier decisions that found Viagogo had made misleading claims on its web site relating to the reselling of tickets to live music and sporting events.

Convention business in May is returning to Australia's Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in numbers not seen since pre-Covid days.
The Centre is set to host 16 conventions, during the month, including two internationals, with the remaining national and state events the highest number held over a four-week period since 2019.
Qantas told to 'fix' 787 safety checks

Australia's Qantas has been told to fix processes for parking and preparing its 787 fleet for flights, after a freighter flew from Melbourne, Australia to Los Angeles USA with four of its static ports taped over.
United 777s cleared to fly again

United Airlines says the USA's Federal Aviation Administration has now cleared the return of 52 Boeing 777s powered by Pratt & Whitney engines that were grounded after an engine failure in February 2021 and they will start flying from later this month.
