The board of directors of Thailand's Thai Airways International has terminated president Piyasvasti Amranand's contract, citing communication problems as the main reason.
The report into the tragedy of Air France 447 is due next month, but an article in the UK's Telegraph media says Airbus's aircraft design may have contributed to one of the world's worst aviation disasters and the deaths of all on board.
Reports say US carriers are reserving more window and aisle seats for those passengers willing to pay extra, making it more difficult for groups and families who don't pay the fee to sit next to each other without paying about US$25 per flight.
