New WA museum takes ‘people first’ approach

Brookfield Multiplex has been awarded the contract to design and construct Western Australia’s new museum.
The museum will be almost four times bigger than the old museum, and feature nearly 7,000 square metres of galleries, including a single 1,000 sqm space to stage exhibitions. There will also be education studios, viewing areas to see curators at work, plus retail, food and beverage outlets.

Singapore’s SIA Group (comprised of Singapore Airlines, Tigerair, Scoot and Silk Air,SIA Engineering and SIA Cargo) has reported an operating profit of S$193 million in the April-June 2016 quarter, an improvement of S$82 million or 73.9 per cent year-on-year.
