China's state-owned airlines have reported earnings falls for the first six months of 2016, hurt by a cheaper yuan and a slowing domestic economy.
Slowing growth in emerging markets and only modest recoveries in advanced economies have been blamed for falls in half-year airline industry figures, with air freight substantially weaker than passenger markets.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI), which manages 125 airports in total including 18 international airports, is making more of its facilities eco-friendly, including the use of natural light during the day and LED lighting at other times, plus special roofing materials that cut air conditioning costs.
