Live Art Festival set for Cape Town

Kenneth Hatton has been appointed senior vice president- global development for tourism group Belmond effective 23rd January 2017.
Hatton has more than 18 years' experience in mergers and acquisitions and global hotel-related transactions. He joins Belmond from Hyatt International where he held the position of senior vice president, Corporate Transactions Group, covering Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific since 2011.

Los Angeles posts sixth consecutive record

The US city of Los Angeles logged 47.3 million visits in 2016, surpassing mid-year forecasts and breaking visitation records for the sixth consecutive year. The new record is 1.7 million visitors more than 2015’s total, an increase of 3.8 per cent.
