Jetstar Asia has added a Singapore-Clark International Airport (CIA), Philippines route and has announced additional services over Christmas and the New Year in anticipation of high ex-CIA demand for the route.

Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, Indonesia has reopened after being closed for 48 hours after the Mt Agung volcano erupted.Garuda and Air Asia started flying Wednesday November 29 and Australia's Qantas and Jetstar were expected to begin operations from Thursday, operating additional flights to help clear their backlog of stranded passengers.

Spain-based IAG says Paris, France will be the second base for its discount airline Level, which will offer one-way tickets from Paris Orly to New York for EUR129 and to Montreal, Guadeloupe and Martinique for EUR99.

Carson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has partnered with taxi alternative Lyft to provide its clients with another on-demand ground transport option (it already has an Uber agreement).
USA-based Lyft has reported recent gains in rider market share.

Qantas has spent the past 12 months building the dedicated lounge, split over two levels, at Heathrow as part of a multi-million dollar investment for customers using its existing London services as well as its new Perth-London direct route starting on 24 March 2018.

Moore’s previous experience includes Starwood Hotels & Resorts and other hotel groups in the USA, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
He most recently was general manager of the 348-room Sheraton Surabaya Hotel and Towers.
