The investigation into why a 'door plug' on an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 blew out mid-flight on January 5 is focused on four bolts that should have held the panel in place. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) wants to know if the bolts fell off 'during the event' or if they were never installed to begin with.

The USA's United Airlines is threatening to crack down on — or even fire — flight attendants who use personal devices aboard its aircraft, with a 'leaked' memo saying use of a personal electronic device and/or accessories is not permitted while customers are on board the aircraft (with the exception of crew rest).

The Italian coastal city of Rimini will host the 2026 edition of the Velo-city conference.
Marking its return to Italy for the first time since 1991, the conference is scheduled to take place from 16-19 June 2026.
The 2026 edition will be jointly organised by the City of Rimini, the AIM Group, and the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF).
