A$3m MICE upgrade for Sydney's Sheraton on the Park

Sydney, Australia's Sheraton on the Park will upgrade its events space with a A$3 million refresh of its dedicated meetings and events floor.

The upgrade of the Grand Ballroom, Hyde Park Room, Phillip Room and pre-function area on the second floor will begin in August and follow the recently completed A$45 million refurbishment of the hotel’s 558 guest rooms and executive club lounge.

European plane maker Airbus left the market guessing at Farnborough Tuesday when it claimed the day’s biggest aircraft order from an unidentified customer who signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for 100 narrow-body jets (25 A321neos and 75 A320neos) valued at US$11.5 billion list.

On Monday Airbus announced a MoU for 80 A320neo family jets signed with an undisclosed lessor.
